As experts in toning and colour maintenance, it made sense for us to create the world’s first Balayage Shampoo (!! Why hasn’t anyone ever done this before?!) so that you can maintain, protect and keep your balayage looking fabulous.
Popular throughout the decades since the 70s, now the most dominant hair trend, Balayage has stuck around as the desired look for celebrities, hairdressers and the fashion-conscious for years. Balayage is versatile, great for all hair types and lengths, is low maintenance and looks amazing!
Available in two variants, MUVO Balayage Shampoo subtly blends, refreshes and cools existing balayage hair. This hydrating formulation is the perfect maintenance shampoo to effortlessly maintain and prolong the life of your balayage hair in between salon visits. MUVO Balayage Shampoo will ensure your balayage maintains moisture & preserves healthy looking hair for longer. These shampoos are suitable for all types of balayage hair and is available in two shades:
Balayage Shampoo For Blondes
For light to medium blonde balayage.
Balayage Shampoo For Brunettes
For medium to dark brunette balayage.
The MUVO Balayage Shampoo that you choose will depend on the lightness of your ends, as well as your base or root colour. Below we delve into the two variations of MUVO Balayage Shampoos to explore, recommend and inform you of how to achieve best results. Different variations of blonde & brunette balayage hair will achieve different results. We recommend that you experiment with timings to get your preferred tone.
Light to Medium Blonde Balayage
If the base or root colour of your hair is a medium blonde, and the ends of your hair are light blonde, then we would suggest that you preserve and maintain your balayage by using our MUVO Balayage Shampoo For Blondes. Just lathering for 1 minute once a week (or every second wash) will effortlessly freshen the tones of your blonde balayage hair. Use for up to 3 minutes if your hair is showing signs of brassiness and is requiring toning to preserve your colour for longer. We recommend that you use MUVO Deep Cleansing Shampoo, our clarifying shampoo to cleanse your hair back to its base for cleaner toning results.

Medium to Dark Brunette Balayage
Where the base or root colour of your hair is a medium to dark brunette, and the ends of your hair are a medium to dark blonde, we would recommend that you protect and maintain your balayage by using MUVO Balayage Shampoo For Brunettes. By shampooing for 1-3 minutes once a week (or every second wash) it will freshen up your salon balayage from home. Use for up to 5 minutes to tone if you are experiencing unwanted copper hues to keep your balayage looking great for longer! We recommend that you use MUVO Deep Cleansing Shampoo, our clarifying shampoo to cleanse your hair back to its base for cleaner toning results.
